Thesis Title: Truthmaking, Truth, and Realism: New Work for a Theory of Truthmakers

Keith Simmons

About

I am a recent Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I am presently a Visiting Lecturer. I also have an M.A. in philosophy from Northern Illinois University. In my dissertation, I developed a truthmaker-based approach to the theories of truth and realism. I have also published on the topics of deflationary truth, moral realism, scientific realism, and theories of ontological commitment. My current research is in the theory of truth and issues about modality in metaphysics.
