I am a cultural geographer specializing in urban studies, transnational politics of belonging, religion, citizenship, and multiculturalism in North America, European Union, and the Middle East. Currently I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in the process of writing my dissertation.
